BiographyTrinidad & Tobago

Sarah Ramharrack is a Caribbean mosaic artist based in Trinidad and Tobago. Working across tile, glass, stone, ceramic fragments and salvaged objects, she builds small, tactile compositions that hold the shoreline, the studio, and everyday domestic life in a single frame.

Her practice moves between wall pieces and functional objects — a keyholder that carries a piece of the coast, a mug tucked into a slate landscape, a diptych of blooming planters. Sarah approaches each work as an act of connection: to the land, to the sea, and to the quiet moments that hold a home together.

Rooted in a deep affection for the natural world, her mosaics celebrate what she calls 'connectivity with nature and how it restores the human spirit.' Every piece is one of a kind, hand-set from her Trinidad studio, and offered as a small, personal reminder of the Caribbean's colour and calm.

In 2026 Sarah began a new body of work, Trini Therapy: a message in a bottle, built entirely from glass bottles set into mosaic. The collection questions why alcohol so often becomes the default response to anger, depression, or anxiety in the Caribbean, while therapy itself still carries stigma. Each piece, Peace, Solace, and Refuge, is named for what a person might actually be searching for at the bottom of a bottle.
